Vehicle seat fitment before procurement
Special-purpose and armored vehicles can require different seat geometry, floor reinforcement, mounting rails, restraint anchorage and cabin clearance than standard production vehicles. A visually similar seat may still require a different base or mounting arrangement.
What to include in your seat RFQ
- Vehicle make, model, year and seating position
- Existing seat or mounting-base photos and dimensions
- Required seat type, quantity and restraint configuration
- Available floor mounting pattern and cabin clearance
- Destination, project timeline and required documentation
